I try nearly 'wild' poems
There's very little left to write
that's not been written before.
There are libraries around the world
full of books on every floor.
Poems, jokes, ideas and facts;
novels, faiths, and each review,
songs, letters and quotations,
wait on shelves for us to view.
Except for scientific discoveries,
we can but repeat words of the past.
on fresh events and arisings
which in the future are cast.
This is a shame, it may be said,
"like music the best's been written".
But I believe that things evolve
and wait, with hope, quite smitten.
What will come next is hard to guess
this poem is different for a start.
My name's an anagram of the title
and with that news I will depart!

This concept has probably been written about many, many times!
