Concentration
Concentrations are not just for man,
nature pools her resources too!
But then man disseminates them
leaving nature to start anew.
Think of gold or silver or copper
kept in chunks for years in the land.
Man seeks them, mines and refines them,
then stretches them thinly in a band.
The same applies to others;
consider oil, ‘ally, gas and lead.
They all start off in tidy lumps
for man, round the world, to spread.
The range of elements affected
is largely unprotected by mans laws.
The same applies to seeds of flowers
which sown, ironically assist in nature’s cause.
While spreading all these things around
man concentrates his dross.
He takes a profit at each stage;
poor old nature bears the loss.
